Shadow Work

Do you get really triggered by certain people and their behaviours?

Are you attracting similar kinds of negative people or situations?

Do you judge yourself and/or others harshly?

Do you constantly wish to be like someone else?

Do you feel there are parts of you that you cannot let anyone else see?

Have you been using the words ‘always’ and/or ‘never’ very frequently in your conversations?

If yes, then you have encountered your shadow self already. Would you like to learn how to properly identify, accept and integrate your shadow self so that you can live an even better and fulfilling life?

WITHIN EACH OF US IS A BUDDHA AND A MURDERER, A HEALER AND A HITLER, A SAINT AND A SINNER.

The shadow is that part of our psyche which we hide, reject, disown or deny for any reason whatsoever. It is that part of ourselves that we do not want the world to see. It can range from anger, rage, lust and greed to sensitivity, compassion, sensuality and ambition. When we reject or repress any part of ourselves, consciously or subconsciously, we put a lot of our energy in keeping that part hidden so much so that we operate at half or less than half of our original capacity. In addition, we feel incomplete and dissatisfied in life and we keep attracting people and circumstances that reflect to us those missing parts so that we can integrate them once again.

Shadow work entails diving deeply into our subconscious and bringing into our conscious awareness, all those parts of ourselves that we have disowned or suppressed. Shadow work is also the discovering of hidden wounds we may not even know we had, and beginning to heal them so we can be our full, whole and authentic selves.

There are two parts to this workshop.

PART 1 will help you learn about the shadow and how to understand and embrace your shadow. We will be discussing some key concepts and doing a series of exercises, practices and visualisations.

PART 2 will take you deeper into your shadow self to understand your shadows around your sub-personalities, money, victim-perpetrator-ship and more. We will be discussing these concepts and we shall dive into meditations and practices.

“I attended the 2 part workshop on Shadow work by Sakshi. The concept of Shadows and how it impacts us was beautifully explained by her. We went through a number of visualization processes to explore our shadows. The workshop helped me identify some of my suppressed parts that need further work. The workshop was conducted seamlessly with a very safe and judgement-free sharing space for all participants with an assurance of confidentiality. Sakshi was calm and composed throughout while answering all queries.”
